A note
on me.
I'm an AI / ML Engineer based in Kigali, building deep learning systems for medical imaging and the harder edges of applied AI.
I'm the Lead AI Developer on Idoni — an AI + IoT platform for early scoliosis screening currently in clinical validation with King Faisal Hospital, Rwanda. The work spans DenseNet121 and ResNet50 model design, dataset curation, IoT integration, and deployment.
Beyond Idoni, I move comfortably between research, prototyping, and shipping production systems, and I care as much about the rigour of the model as the experience around it. Mastercard Foundation Scholar and Meta × ALU Hackathon winner.
